SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Cecilia Helen Moran of Belleville on April 3, 2005; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Moran was born November 16, 1916, in Carlyle and she moved to Venice as a young girl; she married George Moran on November 24, 1946, and they had three children; she was a homemaker; and

WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by a son, William Moran; her parents, John and Catherine (nee Luepke) Rogan; three sisters, Patty Fields, Mary Catherine Rogan, and Ellen Rogan; and a brother, William Rogan; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Cecilia Helen Moran is felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, George; her son, Judge George Moran; her daughter, Judge Kathleen Moran; her son-in-law, Pat Callahan; her grandchildren, Kristen Moran, Clay Moran, Andrew Callahan, Elizabeth (Christopher) Gloeckner, and Rebecca Callahan; and her great-grandson, Devin Gloeckner; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Cecilia Helen Moran and extend our sincerest condolences to her family and friends; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to her family as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
