1 SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, During the 93rd General Assembly, the Sibling
3 Post-Adoption Continuing Contact Governor's Joint Task Force
4 was established pursuant to Senate Joint Resolution 58 to study
5 and make recommendations regarding sibling contact after
6 termination of parental rights; and

7     WHEREAS, Further work is needed on these issues; therefore,
8 be it

9     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
10 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES
11 CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Sibling Post-Adoption Continuing
12 Contact Governor's Joint Task Force is extended; and be it
13 further

14     RESOLVED, That the Sibling Post-Adoption Continuing
15 Contact Governor's Joint Task Force shall submit a report, as
16 established in its authorizing resolution, on or before
17 December 30, 2005; and be it further

18     RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Sibling
19 Post-Adoption Continuing Contact Governor's Joint Task Force
20 shall continue to operate pursuant to its enabling resolution.
