SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

20 ILCS 105/4.02f new

Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Provides that the Department may assist certain adult day service programs in applying for federal demonstration funds. Effective July 1, 2005.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Act on the Aging is amended by adding Section 4.02f as follows:

(20 ILCS 105/4.02f new)

Sec. 4.02f. Adult day service federal demonstration fund assistance. The Department may assist individual adult day service programs that operate as a part of its program of services to prevent unnecessary institutionalization established in Section 4.02 of this Act in applying for federal demonstration funds.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
