SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

750 ILCS 70/45

Amends the Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning immunity under the Act.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Parental Notice of Abortion Act of 1995 is amended by changing Section 45 as follows:

Sec. 45. Immunity. Any physician who, in good faith, provides notice in accordance with Section 15 or relies on an exception under under Section 20 shall not be subject to any type of civil or criminal liability or discipline for unprofessional conduct for failure to give required notice.
