Amends the Water Pollutant Discharge Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning prohibiting the discharge of pollutants.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning safety.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Water Pollutant Discharge Act is amended by changing Section 3 as follows:

(415 ILCS 25/3) (from Ch. 85, par. 1703)

Sec. 3. The The discharge of oil in quantities which exceed the standards adopted by the Pollution Control Board, or the discharge of other pollutants directly or indirectly into the waters is prohibited.
