Amends the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning admission of persons age 18 or older to a mental health facility.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code is amended by changing Section 3-700 as follows:

(405 ILCS 5/3-700) (from Ch. 91 1/2, par. 3-700)

Sec. 3-700. A person 18 years of age or or older who is subject to involuntary admission may be admitted to a mental health facility upon court order pursuant to this Article.
