HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, Brave citizens are serving our country all over
3 the world, placing themselves in harm's way in order to protect
4 the freedom and lives of people everywhere; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Those individuals who choose to serve our country
6 in the Armed Forces are worthy of the highest praise; and
 
7     WHEREAS, Many National Guard and Reserve members have been
8 required to take indefinite leave from places of employment and
9 all service members, active and reserve component, have left
10 loved ones behind; and
 
11     WHEREAS, The following members of the Illinois National
12 Guard Unit #123, based in Salem, are returning home after
13 service in Iraq: Chad Eric Barnes, Max Norman Beem, Adam John
14 Belcher, Gary Wayne Bequette, Jason Matthew Berry, Mark Allen
15 Beshears Jr., Nicholas Bradley Cazadd, William Daniel Clark,
16 Kyle Jacob Crompton, Scott Ryan Deuser, Dustin Alan Duncan,
17 John Edward Fuesting Jr., David Aaron Gessel, Cody James
18 Goldsborough, Brian Scott Goodiel, Nicholas Ray Hahn, Andrew
19 Micheal Harvard, Curtis Scott Thompson, Anthony James Upegui,
20 Steven Wayne Wimberly, Bryan Scott Wyrich, Arturo Hernandez
21 Jr., Jason Allen Hurd, Jason Lee Konkel, Jason Wayne Lance,
22 Craig Vincent Luebbers, Christopher Wayne Lyday, Phillip
23 Lawrence Markus, Jeremy Patrick Massa, Joshua Allen Melton,
24 Justin Grant Mix, Ryan David Monken, Robert Claude Plummer,
25 Dennis Alexander Pracht, Matthew Wayne Prosise, Jesus Ricardo
26 Ramos, John Wyatt Sury, Theodore John Tebbe, and Joshua August
27 Tellefsen; and
 
28     WHEREAS, Illinois is proud of our courageous soldiers who
29 serve in the Illinois National Guard and other branches of the
30 military; therefore, be it

1     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
2 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
3 we welcome these brave and courageous individuals as they
4 return home from Iraq, and we thank them for their devotion to
5 our country and willingness to bravely serve and defend the
6 freedom of people everywhere; and be it further
 
7     RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
8 presented to each of the soldiers as an expression of our
9 gratitude and respect for their sacrifice.
