HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, It is the pleasure of this Body to recognize citizens who make significant contributions to their communities; and

WHEREAS, Lou Krueger served as North Mayfair Community Association President for two years; and

WHEREAS, He was honored last year at the Alderman's Veterans' Day ceremony; he served in the Korean War and is a voice for veterans of the conflict, urging his community to never forget those who served in that war; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Krueger spearheaded the bungalow project, turning his neighborhood into a national historic district because of the large number of bungalows located there; and

WHEREAS, He has spent many hours serving his community through various efforts and is to be commended; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize Lou Krueger, former Mayfair Community Association President, for his many hours of service to the community; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mr. Krueger as an expression of our respect and esteem.
