HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the 1930, 1955, and 1980 graduating classes of Weber High School in Chicago; and

WHEREAS, Founded in 1890, St. Stanislaus College became known as Archbishop Weber High School in 1930; and

WHEREAS, During its years of operation, Weber High School garnered a reputation for excellence in education and received many honors; and

WHEREAS, Though Weber High School closed its doors in June of 1999, the spirit of its values lives on in each student who attended the school; and

WHEREAS, This year, the 1930 graduating class of Weber High School is celebrating its seventy-fifth class reunion, the 1955 graduating class is celebrating its fiftieth class reunion, and the 1980 graduating class is celebrating its twenty-fifth class reunion; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the 1930, 1955, and 1980 graduating classes of Weber High School on the occasion of their respective seventy-fifth, fiftieth, and twenty-fifth class reunions; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to representatives of each of the 1930, 1955, and 1980 graduating classes of Weber High School.
