| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Dedication to one's community is an admirable |
| 3 |
| quality and Richard K. Studebaker, Benton Township Assessor |
| 4 |
| since May 1985, has demonstrated his commitment to Benton |
| 5 |
| Township for over 20 years, since being elected as Town Clerk |
| 6 |
| in 1981; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Studebaker is active in his community in many |
| 8 |
| ways; he is the Past President of the Lake County Assessor's |
| 9 |
| Association, a member of the Township Officials of Illinois, |
| 10 |
| Assessor's Division, a member of Certified Illinois Assessing |
| 11 |
| Officers, and a member of the International Association of |
| 12 |
| Assessing Officers; Mr. Studebaker also holds a real estate |
| 13 |
| license; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Studebaker is a member of the Christ Community |
| 15 |
| Church in Zion; he is a lifetime member of the VFW; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Studebaker has been married for 37 years to |
| 17 |
| his wife, Jean; they are the proud parents of a daughter, |
| 18 |
| Darci, and a son, Chris, and the proud grandparents of four |
| 19 |
| grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, Kelsey, and Max; and
|
| 20 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Studebaker's outstanding service to Benton |
| 21 |
| Township is highly deserving of recognition; therefore, be it
|
| 22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we applaud Richard K. Studebaker for his service to Benton |
| 25 |
| Township; and be it further
|
| 26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| delivered to Richard K. Studebaker.
