| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Frank Gassmere, Village Services Director for the |
| 3 |
| Village of Crestwood, has retired after 32 years of service; |
| 4 |
| and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, After serving eight years as a trustee, Mr. |
| 6 |
| Gassmere was appointed Village Services Director in May 1981; |
| 7 |
| in that position, he worked directly for Mayor Stranczek and |
| 8 |
| ran the day-to-day operations of the village; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, A tireless worker, he was considered by many to be |
| 10 |
| an encyclopedia of knowledge about Crestwood; he led by example |
| 11 |
| and expected department heads to be as tenacious in their |
| 12 |
| duties as he was to his own; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, A resident of Crestwood for 41 years, he was known |
| 14 |
| as an honest and fair administrator and was quick to praise |
| 15 |
| good work; his accomplishments earned him the respect and |
| 16 |
| admiration of the citizens of Crestwood and they are grateful |
| 17 |
| for his service to the community; and
|
| 18 |
| WHEREAS, He and his wife, Delores, have two children, |
| 19 |
| Frank, Jr. and Ronald, and one grandson, Ronald; therefore, be |
| 20 |
| it
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 22 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 23 |
| we thank Frank Gassmere for his many years of exceptional |
| 24 |
| service to the Village of Crestwood and extend to him our best |
| 25 |
| wishes for his travels and retirement years ahead; and be it |
| 26 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 28 |
| presented to Frank Gassmere as an expression of our respect and |
| 29 |
| esteem.
