| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the |
| 3 |
| State of Illinois are pleased to congratulate Dr. Richard Adis |
| 4 |
| on the occasion of his 60th birthday; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born in Chicago on December 10, 1945, to |
| 6 |
| Beverly and Louis Adis; he attended Nettlehorst Grammar School, |
| 7 |
| Lakeview High School, and the University of Michigan at Ann |
| 8 |
| Arbor; he earned his M.D. from Chicago Medical School, serving |
| 9 |
| his residency at the University of Chicago; he was a Major in |
| 10 |
| the U.S. Army, serving at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort |
| 11 |
| Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Dr. Adis is the proud father of Morgan, who lives |
| 13 |
| in Hollywood, California, with his wife, Sarah; Dr. Adis is |
| 14 |
| married to Penny Mitnick and lives with her and children, Emily |
| 15 |
| and Jonathan Hymen, in Highland Park; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, He has practiced obstetrics and gynecology for 29 |
| 17 |
| years and has safely delivered countless new citizens of the |
| 18 |
| State of Illinois; and
|
| 19 |
| WHEREAS, He enjoys skiing, Bruce Springsteen, University |
| 20 |
| of Michigan football, and desserts, and he is known for his |
| 21 |
| boundless energy; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 23 |
| NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 24 |
| we congratulate Dr. Richard Adis on the occasion of his 60th |
| 25 |
| birthday; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 27 |
| presented to him as an expression of our esteem and with best |

| wishes for many more happy birthdays.
