HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Belle Greiman was born October 15, 1906, and will celebrate her 100th birthday on October 15, 2006; and

WHEREAS, She was born in Chicago, a member of the Echt family, prominent in South Chicago; and

WHEREAS, She married Sidney Greiman more than seventy years ago, and they had a happy and loving relationship; and

WHEREAS, Her daughter, Cynthia, was born to them, and five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren have been the object of her love and affection; and

WHEREAS, The love that she has shown to her family and friends and her wonderful energy have been an example for us all; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Belle Greiman on the occasion of her 100th birthday, and we express our best wishes for her continued success and prosperity; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Belle Greiman.
