HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to recognize the volunteers who worked to construct the new firehouse in Loraine, Illinois; and

WHEREAS, Many people in Loraine volunteered their time and efforts for over 19 months, working together to erect a firehouse for the new truck the department received through a grant; and

WHEREAS, The people selflessly dedicated to saving lives, stopping fires, and helping out others in the community are to be honored for their hard work and sacrifice; and

WHEREAS, The new Loraine Fire District Building and fire truck were dedicated on Saturday, September 30, 2006; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the people of the Loraine Fire District on the dedication of the new building, and we commend those who worked tirelessly to complete the project; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Loraine Fire District as an expression of our esteem.
