HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Those who work to educate our students or in support of the education of our students are worthy of the highest praise; and

WHEREAS, One teacher and three staff members are retiring from Libertyville Elementary School District 70 at the end of the school year; and

WHEREAS, John Bracey has served the district for 15 years and is retiring from the position of custodian; Peter Damitz has served for 18.5 years and is retiring from the position of custodian; Laura LeVert has served for 12 years and is retiring from the position of challenge teacher; and Carole Shinton has served for 17 years and is retiring from the position of curriculum secretary; and

WHEREAS, Their influence as educators and support staff will continue in the hearts and minds of the students, faculty, and staff of Libertyville Elementary School District 70; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate and thank these Libertyville Elementary School District staff members for their years of dedication to the education and in support of the education of young people and wish them all the best in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to each of the retirees as an expression of our esteem.
