HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Mater Dei High School cheerleading squad recently won the Highland IHSA Sectional cheerleading championship; and

WHEREAS, The Knights upset the seven-time Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association champion Bulldogs in the event; and

WHEREAS, Winning the event gave the Mater Dei squad the opportunity to participate in the state tournament in Bloomington; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Mater Dei High School cheerleading squad on winning the Highland IHSA Sectional cheerleading championship and on competing at the state level; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to each of the members and coaches of the Mater Dei High School cheerleading squad.
