HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The hunting of wildlife is an experience shared by countless Illinoisans and by many throughout the United States; and

WHEREAS, Few movies can capture spectacular scenery, rare wildlife footage, and the thrill of the chase as Primal Dreams has done; and

WHEREAS, Primal Dreams has recently been awarded three Telly Awards, which are premier awards honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions; these awards include first place for Cinematography, second place for Editing, and second place for Place for Use of Music; and

WHEREAS, Receiving these awards demonstrates the great achievement of the makers of Primal Dreams, who triumphed over a pool of over 12,000 other applicants from five different continents; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we recognize and commend Gene and Barry Wensel and Mike, David, and Mark Mitten of Wensel/Mitten Productions for the production of a film which truly exemplifies the passion and excitement of the hunt; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Wensel/Mitten Productions as an expression of our esteem.
