HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Danielle Belobraydich recently became the 2006 IHSA girls bowling State champion; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Belobraydich is a junior at Plainfield Central High School in Plainfield; she is the school's first female State champion; and

WHEREAS, She rolled a 2,640 12-game total in the tournament, the second best total in State finals history; she carried a 220 average through the 12 games; she was 79 pins ahead going into the last game and ended up winning by the same margin; and

WHEREAS, She was the only individual in the top ten that also was a member of a team that qualified for the final day; she attributes her success to being able to focus on the team aspect of the tournament, rather than on the individual aspect; and

WHEREAS, She began bowling when she moved to Plainfield from Bolingbrook and was in the sixth grade; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Danielle Belobraydich on being the 2006 IHSA girls bowling State champion; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Ms. Belobraydich as an expression of our esteem and with best wishes for her future bowling success.
