HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The Epiphany School Lady Knights seventh grade girls basketball team of Normal recently won the IESA 7A State Championship; and

WHEREAS, The Lady Knights finished a stellar season with a record of 27 wins and no losses; they were the Epiphany Columbus Day Tournament Champions; and

WHEREAS, They were the Sangamon Valley Conference regular season and tournament champions; they went on to win at the regional and sectional level as well; and

WHEREAS, The team is led by head coach Greg Reinhart and assistant coach Dave Schmitt; the statistician is Catie Whalen; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Lady Knights are Allie Norton, Lindsay Stopa, Rachel Nolan, Emily Beoletto, Mia Hartung, Ellen Walters, Jess Reinhart, Amanda Hess, and Chelsea Turner; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Lady Knights on an outstanding season and on winning the IESA 7A State Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to each of the members and coaches of the Lady Knights and to Epiphany School as an expression of our esteem.
