1 HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION

2     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
3 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE
4 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that there is created the Fire
5 Protection Services Task Force consisting of 9 members as
6 follows: (i) one member appointed by the Governor, (ii) one
7 member appointed by the Northern Illinois Alliance of Fire
8 Protection Districts, (iii) one member appointed by the
9 Illinois Association of Fire Protection Districts, (iv) one
10 member appointed by the Illinois Fire Chiefs Association, (v)
11 one member appointed by the State Fire Marshal, and (vi) 4
12 members appointed by the Illinois Legislative Fire Caucus; and
13 be it further

14     RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall study the issue of fire
15 protection coverage and payment for fire protection services in
16 unprotected areas; and be it further

17     RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall dissolve upon reporting
18 to the Governor and the General Assembly.
