5 ILCS 420/1-104

Amends the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act. Makes a technical change in a Section that defines "compensation".

AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act is amended by changing Section 1-104 as follows:

(5 ILCS 420/1-104) (from Ch. 127, par. 601-104)

Sec. 1-104. "Compensation" means any any money, thing of value, or economic benefit conferred on, or received by, any person in return for services rendered, or to be rendered, by himself or another.
