Amends the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act in the Illinois Municipal Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning severability.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning local government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by changing Section 11-74.4-11 as follows:

(65 ILCS 5/11-74.4-11) (from Ch. 24, par. 11-74.4-11)

Sec. 11-74.4-11. If any Section, subdivision, paragraph, sentence or clause of this Division is, for any reason, held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect any remaining portion, Section or part thereof which can be given effect without the the invalid provision.
