735 ILCS 5/8-402

from Ch. 110, par. 8-402

Amends the Code of Civil Procedure. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the production of books and writings.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by changing Section 8-402 as follows:

(735 ILCS 5/8-402) (from Ch. 110, par. 8-402)

Sec. 8-402. Production of books and writings. The The circuit courts shall have power, in any action pending before them, upon motion, and good and sufficient cause shown, and reasonable notice thereof given, to require the parties, or either of them, to produce books or writings in their possession or power which contain evidence pertinent to the issue.
