    Amends the Unemployment Insurance Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning rules.

1     AN ACT concerning employment.
 
2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
 
4     Section 5. The Unemployment Insurance Act is amended by
5 changing Section 1701 as follows:
 
6     (820 ILCS 405/1701)  (from Ch. 48, par. 611)
7     Sec. 1701. Rules and and regulations.
8     General and special rules may be adopted, amended, or
9 rescinded by the Director only after public hearing or
10 opportunity to be heard thereon, of which proper notice has
11 been given. General rules shall become effective ten days after
12 filing with the Secretary of State and publication in one or
13 more newspapers of general circulation in this State. Special
14 rules shall become effective ten days after notification to or
15 mailing to the last known address of the individuals or
16 concerns affected thereby. Regulations may be adopted,
17 amended, or rescinded by the Director and shall become
18 effective ten days after filing with the Secretary of State,
19 and such filing shall be public notice of such regulation,
20 amendment thereto, or rescission thereof, as the case may be.
