SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois learned with sadness of the death of Margaret G. Wuellner of Godfrey on Monday, July 5, 2004; and

WHEREAS, Margaret G. Wuellner was born on June 29, 1918 in Jerseyville to Bernard Lewis and Rose (Hart) Gorman; and

WHEREAS, She married Arthur Wuellner on January 17, 1942 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton; he preceded her in death on September 29, 1989; and

WHEREAS, Mrs. Wuellner was the secretary for many years at St. Mary's Catholic School and Rectory; she enjoyed playing bridge with friends; and

WHEREAS, The passing of Margaret G. Wuellner has been deeply felt by many, especially her son and daughter-in-law, Kem and Jeanne Wuellner; her grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Amy, and Adam Wuellner; her nieces and nephews, Jane Leonhardt, Jamie Gorman, Mike McDonald, George McDonald, M.D., Mary Hart Roberts, Margo McBride, Roseanne Smythe, retired Col. John Gorman, Pat Gorman, D.V.M., Tom Gorman, and Kate Zirkle; and her numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Margaret G. Wuellner, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Margaret G. Wuellner as an expression of our sincere condolences.
