1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of
3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Doris B.
4 Bowlin of Sesser on August 10, 2003; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Bowlin was a member of First Apostolic
6 Church of Sesser; and
7 WHEREAS, Mrs. Bowlin was a loving wife, mother, and
8 friend to all she met; her passing will be deeply felt by
9 many, especially her husband of 57 years, Wendell; her two
10 daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Lee Ford and Relda and
11 Sam Guthrie; her three sons and two daughters-in-law, Kenneth
12 and Mary Lou Bowlin, Gary and Jaxine Bowlin, and Brian
13 Bowlin; her thirteen grandchildren; her nine
14 great-grandchildren; her six sisters and their husbands,
15 Lawanda and Frank Fourez, Loretta Cain, Gladys and Ron Terry,
16 Sharon Forgach, Judy and Patrick Patterson, and Brenda and
17 Tom Monti; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and
18 Charolet Evilsizer, and Robert and Lorraine Evilsizer; and
19 WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her parents, George
20 L. and Goldie M. (Shover) Evilsizer; therefore, be it
21 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL
22 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
23 of Doris B. Bowlin along with all who knew and loved her and
24 extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and
25 be it further
26 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
27 presented to the family of Doris B. Bowlin as an expression
28 of our deepest sympathy.
