SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Linda M. Craig of East Peoria, who passed away on May 30, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Linda Craig was born in Peoria to James W. and Florence B. Parks Craig on July 10, 1949; she graduated from the Academy of Our Lady High School and received her degree from Illinois Central College; and

WHEREAS, Linda Craig worked as a data technician for Ameritech for 30 years and later as an instructor for the American Red Cross; and

WHEREAS, Linda Craig was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mark; and

WHEREAS, Linda Craig is survived by her sons, Scot (Brenda) Craig and Josh Alexander; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Linda M. Craig and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Linda Craig as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
