SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Brian Michael Mentlewicz of Waukesha,
4who passed away on February 10, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Brian Mentlewicz was born on February 29, 1984;
6and
 
7    WHEREAS, Brian Mentlewicz loved playing games, especially
8Monopoly and cards; he loved monster trucks and the Green Bay
9Packers, as well as swimming, racing RC cars, and visiting the
10zoo and the Mall of America; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Brian Mentlewicz was fair, honest, funny, and
12compassionate; his greatest joy and love in life was being
13with his family; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Brian Mentlewicz was the devoted son of Deborah
15(Bryze) and the late Adam Mentlewicz; the former husband of
16Shannon Joseph; the dear godchild of the late Leroy Mentlewicz
17and late Christina Cunat; the nephew of the late Leroy
18Mentlewicz, the late Fred Bryze, the late Christian and Ronald
19Cunat, and the late Diane Bryze and Greg Bryze; the fond cousin
20of Nicole and Steve Moses, Ronald Scott and Nancy Cunat,
21Victoria and Scott Blavat, Jason and Colleen Cunat, Amy

1Cunat-Ramirez, Lisa and Andy Mendenhall, and Steven Bryze; the
2precious godfather to Odin Robert Ramirez; and cousin,
3relative, and friend to many; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Brian Michael Mentlewicz and extend our sincere condolences to
7his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
8further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Brian Mentlewicz as an expression
11of our deepest sympathy.
