HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives with to congratulate the Metamora Grade School 8th grade boys basketball team on placing 3rd at the Illinois Elementary School Association 2022-2023 Class 3A State Finals; and

WHEREAS, The members of the Metamora Grade School 8th grade boys basketball team are Zach Born, Ty Duncan, Henry Gunderson, Drew Hodel, Conner Johns, Brady Jones, Collin Morrison, Lucas Roos, Caleb Scheirer, Kayden Turner, and Blaine Weigelt; and

WHEREAS, The Metamora Grade School 8th grade boys basketball team is coached by Eric Wendte; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Metamora Grade School 8th grade boys basketball team on placing 3rd at the Illinois Elementary School Association 2022-2023 Class 3A State Finals and wish them many more successful seasons; and be it further

RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be presented to the members and coach of the Metamora Grade School 8th grade boys basketball team as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
