HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, It is appropriate that the members of the
3Illinois House of Representatives should recognize Pastor
4Byron E. Whitehead of Mount Carmel Bible Church who strives to
5enrich the lives of the people in his communities; and
 
6    WHEREAS, The good people of Mount Carmel Bible Church will
7be celebrating Pastor Byron E. Whitehead's 25th pastoral
8anniversary this year, and they treasure having a pastor who
9helped change their church for the better; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Pastor Byron Whitehead's efforts of labor and
11love do not go unnoticed; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Pastor Whitehead has given much that is worth
13noting and celebrating, including his prayers, diligence,
14sacrifice, and commitment to his faith and the Mount Carmel
15Bible Church; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Pastor Whitehead has taught, led, and guided
17Mount Carmel Bible Church for 25 years with self-discipline,
18love, compassion, enthusiasm, grace, humbleness, and faith; he
19is a blessing to his congregation, community, and this great
20State; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
2HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
3we honor Pastor Byron E. Whitehead of Mount Carmel Bible
4Church for his commitment to his faith, for being a spiritual
5father, and for bring a role model to so many in the church,
6community, and this State and wish him and his congregation
7all the best as they celebrate his 25 year pastoral
8anniversary; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to Pastor Byron Whitehead as a symbol of our esteem
11and respect.
