HOUSE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mary Lou
4Herron of McHenry, who passed away on April 21, 2023; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Herron was born to Albert and Marie Oonk in
6Woodstock on March 15, 1952, and she was raised in McHenry; and
 
7    WHEREAS, Mary Herron owned and operated a home daycare for
8over 20 years; she later worked for Head Start in McHenry and
9Bright Horizons in Crystal Lake; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Mary Herron enjoyed making crafts, traveling, and
11camping; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Herron was preceded in death by her parents;
13her husbands, David Miller and Raymond Herron; and her
14brothers, Larry and Irvin; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Herron is survived by her children, Jennifer
16(Mark) Evins, Josh (Serenity) Jensen, and Sirianna Herron; her
17grandchildren, Erin, Kiersten (Dakota), Morgin, Matthew
18(Celine), Laurin, Madison, Jacob, Olivia, and Marty (Nadine);
19her great-grandchildren, Jaydin, Masin, Maylene, and Savannah;
20her significant other, Kerry Epstein; her sisters, Trudy

1(Dale) Medendorp, Lillian Mullen, and Deanna Graham; her
2friend, Lucy Palumbo; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces,
3great-nephews, other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
5HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
6we mourn the passing of Mary Lou Herron and extend our deepest
7sympathies to her family, friends, colleagues, and all who
8knew and admired her; and be it further
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
10presented to the family of Mary Herron as an expression of our
11deepest sympathy.
