HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Goley Insulation on the occasion of its 50th anniversary; and

WHEREAS, Goley Insulation, a family-owned business founded in 1973, is a leading contractor based in Dupo specializing in commercial and residential insulation installation solutions, utilizing fiberglass, cellulose, mineral wool, and spray foam insulation, as well as air sealing and energy testing technology, to deliver energy efficiency, cost savings, and comfort to its variety of customers throughout Illinois and Missouri and increasingly in communities across the United States; and

WHEREAS, Goley Insulation was established as the Southern Illinois Insulation Company by Gene and Lillian Goley in the basement of the family home, and they are the parents of the current president, Dewayne Goley, and the grandparents of the current manager, Joseph Goley; and

WHEREAS, Goley Insulation operates under the core values of teamwork, respect, expertise, family, professionalism, hard work, candor, and fun, and it prides itself on bringing timeliness, service, and expertise to everything it does, remaining steadfast and consistently aiming to complete its work right the first time, every time; and

WHEREAS, Goley Insulation is a proud member of the Insulation Contractors Association of America (ICAA), the Home Builders Association (HBA), and the U.S. Green Building Council, and the company is also a founding member of the National Insulation Contractors' Exchange (NICE), an organization that has expanded to over 70 companies across the country; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Goley Insulation on achieving 50 years in business and wish the company continued success for many years to come; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Goley Insulation as an expression of our esteem and respect.
