HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Jennifer A. Blaszczak of Morris, who passed away on May 14, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Jennifer Blaszczak was born in LaGrange on December 8, 1973; she was raised in Downers Grove and ultimately settled in Morris; she earned her Associate of Applied Science and Computer Science from the College of DuPage and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern Illinois University; and

WHEREAS, Jennifer Blaszczak was a registered nurse, working at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Morris, where she assisted seniors navigating their remaining years of life; and

WHEREAS, Jennifer Blaszczak enjoyed knitting and sewing; and

WHEREAS, Jennifer Blaszczak will be remembered for the candor, dedication, love, and passion she expressed when pursuing daily issues and the joys of life; and

WHEREAS, Jennifer Blaszczak was the mother of Jackson, Megan, and Raymond; when adopting Jackson from Novosibirsk, Russia in April 2001, she greatly sacrificed to provide him with the opportunities available in the United States of America; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Jennifer A. Blaszczak and extend our sincere condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Jennifer Blaszczak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
