SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

40 ILCS 5/22B-101

Amends the Illinois Pension Code. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning the establishment of the Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund.

AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing Section 22B-101 as follows:

(40 ILCS 5/22B-101)

Sec. 22B-101. Establishment. The The Police Officers' Pension Investment Fund is created with authority to manage the reserves, funds, assets, securities, properties, and moneys of the police pension funds created pursuant to Article 3 of this Code, all as provided in this Article.
