1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Illinois Soybean
4 Association on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of its
5 founding; and

6     WHEREAS, The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has been a
7 vital part of the agricultural community for six decades; and

8     WHEREAS, The ISA was founded in 1964, with the goal of
9 promoting and advancing the interests of Illinois soybean
10 farmers; and

11     WHEREAS, The ISA has worked tirelessly to enhance the
12 soybean industry, to further innovation, and to support
13 sustainable farming practices in Illinois; and

14     WHEREAS, Over the past 60 years, the ISA has provided
15 crucial research, education, and advocacy, leading to the
16 growth and prosperity of the soybean industry within our
17 State; and

18     WHEREAS, The ISA's commitment to the well being of
19 farmers, environmental stewardship, and the economic health of
20 Illinois is commendable and deserving of recognition;

1 therefore, be it

2     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
3 HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
4 we congratulate the Illinois Soybean Association on its 60th
5 anniversary and commend its extraordinary contributions to our
6 State's agricultural heritage; and be it further

7     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
8 presented to the ISA as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
