SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dallas L. Moore Sr. of South Roxana, who passed away on March 11, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Dallas Moore Sr. was born in Pinckneyville to Clarence Moore and Mabel (Davis) Moore-Owen on December 13, 1933; he married Janet Stone in Pinckneyville on May 2, 1953; and

WHEREAS, Dallas Moore Sr. was a machinist for Schoeneweis Tool and Die until he retired in 1996; and

WHEREAS, Dallas Moore Sr. was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Alfred Owen; and

WHEREAS, Dallas Moore Sr. is survived by his wife; his son, Dallas (Alberta) Moore Jr.; his daughter, Jeanie (Rick) Farrow; his grandchildren, Michael Moore, Amy Loepker, and Nicholas Farrow; and his great-grandchildren, Heaven Moore, Viktor Farrow, Owen Farrow, and Jake Loepker; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dallas L. Moore Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dallas Moore Sr. as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
