SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Paul H. Schold, who passed away on
4August 29, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Schold was born to Paul and Angela
6(Giovenazzo) Schold in Moline on April 3, 1948; he graduated
7from United Township High School in 1966; he served as an
8aviation electrician in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1973, where
9he was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 17, Early Warning Squadron
10VAW-123, serving on four aircraft carriers; he attended Black
11Hawk College and the University of Montana; he graduated from
12the University of Illinois in Urbana; he attended Utah State
13University for post-graduate studies, specializing in
14Landscape Architecture; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Paul Schold was employed as ISO coordinator and
16warranty administrator by McLaughlin Body Company in Moline
17for 23 years; he retired in 2020; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Paul Schold enjoyed fishing, camping,
19photography, hunting, and traveling; in his recent years, his
20friends Beau, Bo, and Benny ensured his time was spent making
21meaningful memories, hunting, fishing, and having fun while
22completing his bucket list; and

1    WHEREAS, Paul Schold is survived by his brother, Sam
2(Nancy) Schold; his sister, Cathi (Mark) Dorr; his circle of
3lifetime, close friends; and his faithful cat, Miss Kitty;
4therefore, be it
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
7Paul H. Schold and extend our sincere condolences to his
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
9further
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
11presented to the family of Paul Schold as an expression of our
12deepest sympathy.
