SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Norman B. Bost of East Moline, who passed away on July 8, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Norman Bost was born to George and Mildred Brown Bost in Elgin on July 1, 1933; he served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War; he married Joan D. Egan in Moline on September 17, 1960, and she preceded him in death on April 7, 2014; and

WHEREAS, Norman Bost was employed at International Harvester in East Moline for many years; and

WHEREAS, Norman Bost was a member of the U.A.W.; and

WHEREAS, Norman Bost was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother, Dean Bost; and

WHEREAS, Norman Bost is survived by his sister, Louise Lateer; his sister-in-law, Kathy Bost; his brother, Harold (Shirley) Bost; his sister, Sally (Larry) McMullen; and his nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Norman B. Bost and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Norman Bost as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
