SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Wesley William Koehler of Princeville, who passed away on May 20, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Wesley Koehler was born to Dennis and Colleen Koehler on April 22, 1989; he graduated from Illinois State University in 2011; and

WHEREAS, Wesley Koehler worked as a lab technician at AgReliant in Brimfield; he was very proud of his lab and thoroughly enjoyed working with his colleagues; and

WHEREAS, Wesley Koehler served as the Peoria County Democratic Party 2020 Precinct Committee Person for Princeville; he had an avid interest in local politics and believed in working to improve his community; an Eagle Scout with Troop 52, he maintained a passion for Boy Scouting, camping, and environmental preservation; and

WHEREAS, Wesley Koehler was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Julia Koehler, and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kendall; and

WHEREAS, Wesley Koehler is survived by his parents; his sisters, Katie Koehler and Megan (Sam Vicari) Koehler; his exchange brother, Panit Anaurat; his grandfather, John Laverne Kendall; his uncles and aunts; his cousins; and his close friends; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Wesley William Koehler and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Wesley Koehler as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
