1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to congratulate the Burbank National
4 Little League Junior Division and the Burbank National Little
5 League Senior Division on their recent achievements; and

6     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League is a nonprofit
7 youth organization and a charter member of Little League
8 Baseball and Softball; and

9     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League has won over
10 80 Little League championships, from the district level all
11 the way up to the national level, over the past 35 years; and

12     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Junior
13 Division won the state championship and competed in the
14 championship game for the Central Region in 2022; and

15     WHEREAS, The Burbank National Little League Senior
16 Division won the state and Central Region championships,
17 competing in the Senior League Baseball World Series in 2022;
18 therefore, be it

19     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
20 HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1 we congratulate the Burbank National Little League Junior
2 Division and the Burbank National Little League Senior
3 Division on their recent achievements, and we wish them
4 continued success; and be it further

5     RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be
6 presented to all members of the Burbank National Little League
7 Junior Division and the Burbank National Little League Senior
8 Division as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
