HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Community Health Partnership (CHP) of Illinois on the occasion of the grand opening of the CHP Aurora Health Center; and

WHEREAS, The mission of CHP of Illinois is to expand on the delivery of quality, culturally responsive health care services for its patients, caregivers, and partners in the communities it serves; the organization empowers all, including migrant seasonal agricultural workers and their families, to enjoy maximum well-being, regardless of ability to pay; and

WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois has been serving migrant seasonal farmworkers and their families, the underserved, and the uninsured in rural Illinois for more than 50 years; and

WHEREAS, As primary health care is much needed in these rural communities, CHP of Illinois serves as a safety net organization for the most vulnerable; and

WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois provides valuable services to bridge and close the gap of care, which has been recognized by leaders of business, industry, and rural communities; and

WHEREAS, CHP of Illinois serves all life cycles and prepares students and their families with much needed preventative health services at its physical locations and from its mobile medical units, with integrated programs of care that link to and lead to the attainment of better health outcomes; and

WHEREAS, The CHP of Illinois health programs ensure that employers have access to a qualified and thriving workforce, ensuring the State of Illinois has a strong and healthy economy; and

WHEREAS, As part of its Community Health Center Week, CHP of Illinois will host the grand opening of the CHP Aurora Health Center on August 10, 2022, which has been renovated with new patient rooms and added services for the benefit of the whole community; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Community Health Partnership of Illinois on the grand opening of the CHP Aurora Health Center and wish the organization continued success; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to CHP of Illinois as an expression of our esteem and respect.
