HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate the Rotary Club of Chicago Heights-Park Forest on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of its founding; and

WHEREAS, The Rotary Club of Chicago Heights-Park Forest was established on March 2, 1922; and

WHEREAS, Rotarians are dedicated to causes that improve lives, increase understanding among the people of the world, grow peace, create a better world, and end diseases such as polio forever; and

WHEREAS, Rotarians promote peace, fight disease, and provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; and

WHEREAS, Rotarians save mothers and children, support education, provide scholarships, grow local economies, and protect our environment; and

WHEREAS, Rotarians cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture in which people from underrepresented groups have greater opportunities to participate as members and leaders; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate the Rotary Club of Chicago Heights-Park Forest on the 100th anniversary of its founding, and we wish it many more wonderful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the Rotary Club of Chicago Heights-Park Forest as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
