HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Mary Lucarini on the occasion of her 100th birthday on September 26, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Mary Lucarini was born in Chicago Heights on September 26, 1921; she was raised in Chicago Heights; she married Augusto Lucarini, and they were together for 26 years until his passing; and

WHEREAS, Mary Lucarini is the former owner of the restaurant Mama Mary's in Chicago Heights; and

WHEREAS, Mary Lucarini is the mother of three children, Dante, Rosemary, and Ronald, the grandmother of two grandsons, Jason and the late Ryan, and the great-grandmother of two great-grandchildren, Rocco and Bronx; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Mary Lucarini on celebrating her 100th birthday, and we wish her many more happy and healthy years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mary Lucarini as an expression of our esteem and respect.
