HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives wish to congratulate Gregory Wilson on being elected president of the Peoria Public School Board of Education; and

WHEREAS, Gregory Wilson joined the Board of Education in 2017 and is excited by and grateful for the support of his fellow board members; and

WHEREAS, The father of five children, three of whom are Peoria public school students, Gregory Wilson is motivated by the desire to take care of all students in his district and make sure they all have the tools to be successful; and

WHEREAS, One of Gregory Wilson's major goals is to broaden communication between the board and students and their families; he also wants to ensure the board is constantly reimagining education and bringing innovative things to the district; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Gregory Wilson on being elected president of the Peoria Public School Board of Education, and we wish him many successful years; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Gregory Wilson as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
