SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

30 ILCS 237/5

Amends the Accountability for the Investment of Public Funds Act. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning definitions.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning finance.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The Accountability for the Investment of Public Funds Act is amended by changing Section 5 as follows:

(30 ILCS 237/5)

Sec. 5. Definitions. As used in this Act:

"Public funds" means current operating funds, special funds, interest and and sinking funds, and funds of any kind or character belonging to or in the custody of any State agency.

"State agency" means those entities included in the definition of "State agencies" in the Illinois State Auditing Act.
