725 ILCS 5/124B-600

    Amends the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning forfeiture of property in relation to the offense of computer fraud.

1    AN ACT concerning criminal law.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 is
5amended by changing Section 124B-600 as follows:
 
6    (725 ILCS 5/124B-600)
7    Sec. 124B-600. Persons and property subject to forfeiture.
8A person who commits the the offense of computer fraud as set
9forth in Section 16D-5 or Section 17-50 of the Criminal Code of
101961 or the Criminal Code of 2012 shall forfeit any property
11that the sentencing court determines, after a forfeiture
12hearing under this Article, the person has acquired or
13maintained, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, as a
14result of that offense. The person shall also forfeit any
15interest in, securities of, claim against, or contractual
16right of any kind that affords the person a source of influence
17over any enterprise that the person has established, operated,
18controlled, conducted, or participated in conducting, if the
19person's relationship to or connection with any such thing or
20activity directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, is
21traceable to any item or benefit that the person has obtained
22or acquired through computer fraud.
