SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Donald F. Schweska of Moline, who passed away on August 2, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was born to Fred and Pearl Schweska in Springfield on September 16, 1938; he married Judith Lyons Yeager in Rock Island on April 2, 1971; he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and was very proud of being a Marine; and

WHEREAS, Donald Schweska retired as a printer pressman from Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island; and

WHEREAS, Donald Schweska was a member of many bowling leagues and served as secretary in the Milan Classic League; he bowled in the American Bowling Congress Championship and was inducted into the Greater Rock Island County USBC Hall of Fame; and

WHEREAS, Donald Schweska is survived by his wife, Judith "Judie"; his children, Thomas Schweska, Susan Lang, Michael Schweska, John Schweska, William "Bart" (Maria) Yeager, and Bradley (Peggy) Yeager; his 18 grandchildren; and his 19 great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Donald F. Schweska and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Donald Schweska as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
