HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The public health workers of the McLean County Public Health Department have worked tirelessly and with dedication on the front lines of public health, serving the citizens of McLean County; and

WHEREAS, Our nation is experiencing one of the worst pandemics as a result of the Covid-19 virus, and the workers of the McLean County Public Health Department are helping build a stronger and healthier McLean County; and

WHEREAS, These public health workers who provide services, including immunizations, emergency preparedness, clinics, environmental health, behavioral health, dental care, WIC, and information, have had to swiftly adapt to changing needs with their response to Covid-19; and

WHEREAS, These public health workers serving McLean County are helping county residents connect to services and programs and receive the critical information, guidance, mitigation measures, precautions, and tracing that are vital to reduce the spread of the virus; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we commend the public health workers of the McLean County Public Health Department for their tireless efforts during the Covid-19 pandemic; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the McLean County Public Health Department as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
