SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene C. Rebello of Rock Island, who passed away on November 29, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Rebello was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Manuel and Mary (Aruze) Rebello on January 30, 1929; he served in the U.S. Army and married Ormaline Neibur in Illinois on October 25, 1952; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Rebello worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at the Rock Island Arsenal; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Rebello enjoyed making trips back to the East Coast to spend time with his family; he was a past Master of Eureka Lodge #69 A.F. & A.M., Milan; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Rebello was preceded in death by his wife, Ormaline; his parents; his sons, Jaime E. and Jayson M. Rebello; and his siblings, Everett, Elizabeth, and Joseph Rebello; and

WHEREAS, Eugene Rebello is survived by his son, Joseph Rebello; his grandchildren, Marcella (Chad) Miner, Angela Rebello, Charles Rebello, Anthony Rebello, and Jamie Marie Rebello; eight great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Barbara Rebello and Dorothy (Mike) Boyce; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Eugene C. Rebello and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Eugene Rebello as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
