SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Alan E. Anderson of Waukegan, who passed away on November 8, 2019; and

WHEREAS, Alan Anderson was born in Waukegan to Adolph and Gertrude (Sigman) Anderson on May 2, 1936 and was a life-long resident; and

WHEREAS, Alan Anderson retired in 2001 from the Lake County Press after many years of service working in printing sales; and

WHEREAS, Alan Anderson was a member of Waukegan Masonic Lodge 78 and the Medinah Shriners; he served on the hospital committee of Shriners and was involved in auto racing; and

WHEREAS, Alan Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Anne Anderson, and his parents; and

WHEREAS, Alan Anderson is survived by his sister, Audrey (James) Thompson; two nieces; and a nephew; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Alan E. Anderson and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Alan Anderson as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
